Burn Token
Permanently remove tokens from circulation — LP tokens, SPL and Token-2022 — and close empty accounts to get your rent back.
How to use this tool
- Connect your wallet — everything it holds is sorted into the four tabs below.
- Pick the tab: LP is Raydium liquidity tokens, Tokens is normal tokens with a name and symbol, Cleanup is empty accounts, and Unknown holds mints whose metadata can't be read — they are kept apart so nothing is burned by mistake, so check the mint on the explorer before touching anything there.
- Click the token you want to burn. A panel opens underneath with its balance, mint address and the rent locked in its account.
- Enter the amount, or use the 10% / 25% / 50% / Max buttons.
- Burning everything? Leave “Close the token account too” ticked — the account is closed in the same transaction and its ~◎0.002 rent comes back to you.
- Tick “I understand this cannot be undone”, press Burn Tokens and approve in your wallet. The supply drops by exactly what you burned.
- In Cleanup, press Close on any empty account to get its rent back. The heading shows the total you can reclaim.
Burning is permanent: the tokens are destroyed, not sent anywhere, and nobody — including us — can bring them back. Burning LP tokens destroys your claim on that pool's liquidity; if you want the liquidity locked but still want its trading fees, use Burn & Earn instead.
